TEACHERS
Tammy
Tammy has always loved swimming and children. She has four grown children of her own, six grandchildren, and has worked with children and teens at her church for over 30 years. She has offered small group and individual swim lessons from her family home since 2002.
Tammy teaches to the individual, building confidence in each swimmer through the rapport she quickly establishes. She is a perceptive and intuitive swim instructor who challenges without being forceful. She was on the swim team at Ventura College and taught water aerobics at the Ojai Athletic Club and the Oaks at Ojai.
Briana
Briana, Tammy’s daughter, shares her mother’s passion for swimming and teaching children. She has taught with Tammy’s Pool Time since 2013. She taught swim lessons and lifeguarded for multiple YMCAs and City Recreation departments. She previously assisted in physical education at Topa Topa Elementary School for two years, as well as other jobs with the school.
She is currently an elementary school teacher here in Ojai.
*Lessons are not scheduled for an individual instructor. Lessons will be taught by the available instructor and may change lesson to lesson.
